Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: How to graph the relationship between two variables with xy mode

You can use a special feature of the graph window to look at the relationship between any two aspects in the simulation.

First graph the two aspects you want to compare (see How to graph an aspect for details). In the graph window, change the axis of one of the aspects to the right axis. Now you should have one aspect on the left axis and one aspect on the right axis. Run the simulation for a while so you have some data to look at.

Click the xy mode gif/00000086.gif button at the bottom of the graph window. The graph will switch to xy mode, the right axis aspect will move to the X axis, and you will see an xy scatterplot of the two variables. To switch back to time series mode, click the time series gif/00000087.gif button.
